is a landscape construction firm located in Cleveland, Ohio. We collaborate with architects, landscape architects, design firms, public art studios, builders and homeowners to implement lasting hardscape design in conjunction with horticultural and site enhancements. Over the years, with exceptional craftsmanship and a devotion to natural materials, we have collaborated on large scale, multi-year residential projects and estates, historical renovations, art museum installations and other institutional sites. Our 35+ years of extensive experience in the field with cohesive partnerships enable us to execute complex commissions.
David Wallis, Principal
David Wallis is the founder and principal of Bedrock Contracting. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hillsdale College and holds certificates in Conflict Management and Peace Studies. In 1990 at the age of 13, David picked up his first stone chisel and a passion was ignited. The team of artisans he trained in 2007 still form the core of Bedrock Contracting.
